Are you a teacher or careers advisor looking for enrichment activities for your KS3, KS4 or Sixth Form students?

Careers in the Arts delivers workshops that are tailored to your school’s needs and ambitions for your students. These sessions are delivered free of charge thanks to the programme funding.

We offer two categories of workshops, Skills for Success and Creative Career Encounters.

Our Skills for Success workshops focusses on the transferrable skills you aquire when engaging with a creative career pathway (e.g. joining youth theatre, helping out with tech for a school show etc.) which will benefit you no matter what career path you choose.

Our Creative Career Encounters workshops focusses on the specific careers available in the arts sector and allows you to learn and develop new skills.

Overall, these workshops will give your students the chance to:

  • Hear inspirational stories from industry professionals on their career journey in the arts.

  • Express an interest in work experience opportunities at Corn Exchange Newbury and The Watermill Theatre.

  • Develop your student’s employabiltly skills and grow their arts industry knowledge.

You can also access our digital resources including arts professionals voice notes, useful arts websites and YouTube videos.
